FHMS/FP Capturing Kids' Hearts
FHMS/FP Capturing Kids' Hearts program has helped us become better staff and students. Through the practices learned we've dramatically elevated the academic and behavioral standards across our campus. It has helped us build relationships, highly performing teams and safe classrooms. We teach students that thoughts control attitudes and attitudes control actions. Our positive campus culture promotes Falcon Pride!
National Junior Art Honor Society
NJAHS is designed specifically for middle school and junior high school students (grades 6-9). It is open to students who meet its academic qualifications. The goal of the program is to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art and to generate interest in art programs at the secondary level and beyond. Students join FHMS NJAHS:
- To gain peer recognition, leadership growth opportunities, college and career preparation, and an unmatched sense of camaraderie.
- To receive opportunities for publication in the NAHS News (semi-annual, digital publication), and the National Art Honor Societies Online Gallery powered by Artsonia.
- To impress them! Institutions of higher education view the NJAHS as a mark of accomplishment.

Falcon Leaders focus on making a positive impact on all students by creating a sense of safety, affiliation, fulfillment, pride and community. They are positive role models and leaders within our school.
Falcon Leaders work with the school counselor to develop and promote ideas to give back to our community and school. Our leaders organize dances, Red Ribbon Week, collections and donations projects to give to animal shelters, and families in need, and so much more.
Many of our leaders will join in 4th grade and continue through 8th grade.
